I've had my best luck with a 99 Ranger, not seen one yet hunting. Yet there are quite a few running around my neighborhood,  run over 4 now.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

We have killed many coyotes with a 22mag. We try and keep the shots inside 100 and use 40g cci hollow points. We do get a few runners but it works well. Not the best choice but will do the job.

I have had very good luck using the 22Mag on Yotes!  But I agree with Carp' - best to keep shots under 100 yards.  My only runner was near 125 yards.  I have been using the 30 gr V-Max lately and it's impressive.  Though the CCI version seems to group better in my gun.  Not sure if CCI is still making the tipped V-Max style anymore.  Haven't been able to find them for about 18 months now.

Shoot them in the head or lungs. They don't go far. 40 grain hp does the job.

Bobcats/Coyotes - same thing other than the V-Max up close makes a mess of them little kitties.
