Badlands Warranty/Customer Service.

Well guys I finally got my pack back from badlands.... they fixed everything I wanted them to except for the internal frame system...
Like I mentioned earlier I don't know what happened but the aluminum stays inside the pack started to twist and their edges kept knifing into my shoulder blades.  I can see where they put a few stitches into the tops of where the stays are located to try and keep them seated but they twist just as bad as ever...  Pretty disappointed and was a little peeved but I calmed down and called them up.  Guy said he'll send UPS back to my place with a pickup order and they'll get it back and try to see whats wrong with it and figure it out.  Not sure if it needs new aluminum rods or what but I'm tired of having this pack out of comission... didn't use it at all last fall because of this problem and was looking forward to getting it back and putting it to use.... I guess not.

Have you ever just tried pulling the aluminum stays out and bending/twisting them yourself? I'm surprised they did not replace the stays while the pack was down there since you mentioned the problem. I took mine out and bent them a little to fit the curve of my back and they have been great so far, I'll watch out though the same problem.
