online source for projectiles and other reloading supplies?
« on: February 10, 2016, 04:12:26 PM »
gonna start pounding out some ammo in the next few weeks, need to find a place to buy bullets and brass, prefer semi local, (within 3 states), and a smaller business, but I guess I could go to one of the bigger name suppliers if there isn't a "go to" online shop that someone can recommend.
Thanks

I've ordered and purchased from Three forks in Cle Elum. Good guy! Also bought from Welchers in Tacoma! In there last week and they had a good stock on every thing but Brass.

Brunos is a good source for supplies as well. What specific components are you looking for?

I will need bullets for 9 different calibers, brass for a few of them, tool heads for my 550, etc. Probably buy powder and primers in town to beat shipping costs. I'm not in love with sportsmans, or ranch and home. And that's who we have locally for the most part.

I like to support local/semi local business when possible, even if it drives my cost up some. There will still be plenty of times I go to midway or brownells, just looking for a semi local small business to support. Thanks for the info so far

If you ever head through Pendleton you should check at Garners as well. Pretty similar prices to Sportsmans and Ranch and Home but no sales tax. They've got a pretty good selection of reloading supplies.

Tool heads for a 550.....  I'd go to Dillon for any Dillon products needed.

You have a Sportsmans Warehouse in the tri-cities.   When I need something in Moses Lake I drive to Wenatchee to the Sportsmans Warehouse.   SW seems to have a good selection of powders and the SW on Columbia Blvd appears to be a very large store.  I think it's bigger than the one in East Wenatchee.

Wes @ Sage can cover you for everything, he is located in Renton.  He even gets powers in sometimes I believe though his focus is brass, brass processing and bullets.  He sees pretty much every caliber out there.  Just be careful, the deals he put out have a way of draining your wallet quickly.
