I received my cf tripod today.  If I had the cash I'd buy every single one. This is a  STEAL!!! Quality is very high on the legs. The head is junk, but the legs deserve a top quality head.

Hows the quality? I see it says carbon fiber. Is it real carbon? It says its 6.1 pounds. Seems heavy for carbon fiber.
If you guys think its absolutely worth It well pick up two.

Agreed. 6.1 seems very heavy for carbon fiber.

It's a pretty heavy head. I tore it apart. The locks are well machined and it most certainly is cf. The temp difference is immediately noticed and the vibration difference is noticeable. I'm not in any way affiliated with them.....but if you put your hands or your gear on my legs with my manny head on it.....you'd be sad you didn't buy one.

Thanks for the heads up, just purchased one, should work great for range time and whatnot. No need for a uber light version for what I do.

Are you using this for photo only or will it do well for packing in with a spotting scope too?
