Turkeys have been strutting and gobbling like crazy for quite a while now, I'm ready for season to open! Here are a few birds that were behind the house this morning.

I bought a few really cheap refurbished Bushnell cams ($39.95 each) to see how they do. They'll be perfect for using on public land so I don't lose much when the thieves find them. Had two out overnight and just checked them. Photos aren't too bad for the small cost of the cameras.

They had over 200 of them at Natchez, but they sold out already. I was going to get a few more but wasn't quick enough. If you check Google and Amazon there were several other businesses that had various refurbished cameras from $30 to $70.

There's about 40 toms and jakes on the property I scouted this morning, just have to figure out the best plan, soooo many eyes to see any mistake we might make! Another group of birds on the same property.
