Anyone know when Hancock does their elk draw?
« on: April 12, 2016, 05:21:01 PM »
I know they do it before the states deadline and they usually wait till they sell out. But they haven't sold out lately, I don't want to bug Claudia so early.  Anyone remember when they drew last year?

How would it work if they draw your name and you havexalso drawn a multi season tag? Pick one season or get to hunt them all?

I heard of this multi season situation a couple of years ago on this forum. If I remember right, Hancock honored the tag.

If so, that would be some great luck getting the Hancock draw and MS elk.

Oh man, that might make my decision easier if they honor the multi season tag. I not only drew a MS elk tag, but also a spring bear tag so I need at least the bear access pass.

They did honor that tag 2 years ago, but I talked with the main guy the following year and he said they don't plan on doing that again.  You will have to pick which weapon you want, not a bad decision to make though.  I just wouldn't pick up my multi tag if I drew the kapowsin.
