Leavenworth bear hunting
« on: May 06, 2016, 08:11:39 PM »
I will be camping with family in the Leavenworth area mid to late August.  Wondering if it would be worth taking my rifle and a bear tag?  Thanks for any help.  Dave

I've done a lot of bear hunting in that area. It's my favorite spot to go east of the cascades for bear.

I know a guy who lives in the Icicle in a "cabin", an old rock climbing friend. Bears have knocked his barbecue off his porch more than once.
