Heres a couple more black yotes.  Little disclaimer, the timestamp says "backyard" cause i had this cam mounted to my porch, and forgot to change the name when i moved it.  These critters are on public land.  Got more pics of em but only resized one for now.

First off I want to say I am not a SSS guy.  Wolves are here and there is nothing we can do about it.  Lobby to get them huntable sooner, yes, get rid of them, no.

My concern is I could easily see those getting shot by someone thinking they were a bear.  That is bad for a lot of reasons.  It could reset the magic "breeding pair" numbers and it could get a hunter into real trouble if they don't properly identify their target.

Can I use your photo for a hunter education class?  I think it would be great for the students to see the similarities in color and size at a glance.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Looking at all the pics, they look like a pair of younger, kinda small wolves to me.  But look at the size of them compared to robert the cat  :yike:

"It could reset the magic "breeding pair" numbers"

Now that right there is a hilarious statement :chuckle: :chuckle: I guess you didn't notice that WDF&Wolves have already predicted when they would supposedly have the magic delisting number. Somehow they seem to know exactly what year the wolves will hit the delisting phase.
