My son shoots a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 and with his Nightforce scope and Harris 6 to 9" bipods it's pushing 14 lbs. Accurate gun, just decide if the weight is an issue and if it's more of a long-range competition type rifle or spot-n-stalk type rifle you need. Go to a website like Grabagun and see if something catches your eye in their 6.5 Creedmoor selections, that's a great caliber in my opinion.

Where are the coopers coming in at?

 About $2500 ;)

Another good option is the Howa Alpine, the 6.5 Creedmoor just became available in 2016.

I picked up a Bergara  B14 synthetic in 6.5 Creedmoor  at Sportsman's Whse  for 699.00 . Weighs 7.25 without a scope. Mine shoots the Hornady  143gr eld-x into 1/2 in at 100yds.
