Is Seattle’s gun tax really a misguided punishment tax?“It’s kind of like a punishment tax,” said KIRO Radio’s Tom Tangney who was stepping in as co-host alongside Ron Upshaw.
Ron argues that he believes the idea of the gun tax started out with good intentions, but by the time it went through the city’s process, it ended with unintended consequences.

The Seattle City Council is completely out of control. Just when you think they couldn't do anything more absurd, they prove you wrong.
So annoyed when I had to pay this tax to buy turkey loads! I love outdoor emporium but will not buy anything there that will contribute to this tax again. By the city councils logic shouldn't they just tax the criminals who are involved in gun violence? I feel bad for the shops in Seattle and will contribute when I can but will not buy guns or ammo!
