The journey from the desert to the mountains that these deer undertake is truly remarkable.  It makes me wonder what the heck gows with the mule deer in and around gmu 247?  When one looks at what the big ones have to go threw to get to HW 2.  Its amazing. Genreally speeking what is the summer rang for the huge mule deer i see along HW 2 in the deep winter months but then their gone during the summer?  Im talking the 170"-190"+ not the 125"-140" residents???
