This is my last night in Scotland and it was 30 minutes before dark and this 6 point buck came out with a doe and had a 50 yard shot

I just got back home after 10 days in Scotland.  Saw several of those little guys out in the fields and a few along the roads hit by cars.  I am assuming you must have been in the highlands?  What general area were you in?
It's not always as it seems

Great story and pics   Do those deer have any natural predators?  How hard of a hunt was it?

I was in the woodlands about an hour from Aberdeen Scotland I wasn't in the highlands that's where you hunt the Red Stagg which a lot of people say that's a heck of a hunt because there is no cover so you have to use the land to get close

Hunters are the natural predators and we have been hunting hard for 3 days on foot and setting up in openings which we didn't have the weather on our side so the outfitter said he sees a lot more bucks but managed to shoot 2 bucks. These deer are more challenging.then some of our deer even the does are spooky. These bucks I shot are not even metal bucks there are some nice bucks out there this is a blast and recommend it

When that time comes let me know so I will take care of you whether it's hunting Red Stagg and SIka deer in the highlands or roe bucks in the woodlands it's not very expensive compared to other parts of the world
