In my mind Ruger is an excellent company to deal with. I bought a Goverment Model Ruger target pistol back when they were first offered on the civilian market. It had a slightly cocked barrel (sights not on top of the barrel). After 20 some years I finally contacted them about getting it aligned correctly. Since Bill Ruger was dead and the company probably reorganized I figured I'd be paying for the repair. Heck no, they fixed it for free and also drilled the receiver to accept an optical sight. The new models come drilled from the factory but the older ones weren't.
Ruger is a good company.
