Lets see some of the other pics!

I'm new to the Goose Prairie unit. My daughter and I drew it as our third choice this year. I went over and did some hiking and sight seeing this last weekend on the south side of bumping lake and to the top of Nelson ridge. Beautiful scenery and some recent elk sign. I could sure use some help to find a decent spot for access and animals I really want to be able to watch my daughter shoot her first bull. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What season is your tag for?  That will determine a lot.

If I was you and had that tag I would pass that bull up and go after something a bit bigger. As Nice as he is we diffidently have bigger ones in that unit. (just my opinion)Think steep and deep
Good luck on all your hunting adventures

Here's one from one of my cams.

I don't care about size, the fun of hunting and scouting is what keeps me at it.

Going to continue with looking in the southern portion of the unit tomorrow. Good scouting trip today. Seen a lot of elk and no one else in the vicinity of where I was!

Plan B coming in place perfectly!
