PRO SHOP NEEDED (Central WA)
« on: July 01, 2016, 12:47:43 PM »
Hey guys,

I'm looking to get some opinions on a good archery shop in Central WA.  There are none where I live but I do make it to Wenatchee from time to time so possibly Hooked on Toys?  I have a Mathews Z7 I would like to get restrung with Winners Choice stings and other general tuning stuff.  I'm open to driving somewhere else to if the service would be better.  I would love to go check out XXX Archery but 10 hours round trip is a bit much.

Thanks for any input.

May I ask why winners choice?

Because I think it is due for a new string and I want the best.  Do you have another suggestion?

I think winners choice are fine stings still but not the best like they were before the company sold a few years back.  I was a huge winner's choice fan before they sold I believe quality has gone away since the sale.

I didn't realize they were having quality control issues.....So which ones would you suggest instead?

I've had a set of first string I really liked.  Brite string in another good custom string maker right here in wa.

Kind of a trek but Steve at outdoor emporium in Seattle is a wizard. We take all our bows to him and are never disappointed. Knowledgeable, fast, helpful, can't say enough good things about him

Yeah I'd skip winners choice they are decent but not like they where. Bright strings 60x both do a good job. Where are you located at in central?

Does Denton make strings or would he have to order?

Like I said..
I wonder where we could find a local with experience in the area to start up a shop with some shooting lanes? Hmmm.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
