Cranberry Lake (Shelton)
« on: July 03, 2016, 12:40:32 PM »
Hey all, was looking over maps and saw Cranberry lake, and was wondering if the woods around it are open to hunting, or public land. Can't find any info online about it. Anytime I type 'Cranberry Lake' it takes me to a state park not even in the area with a lake. Any info would be great on this area! Thank you.

If that's off McKewen Rd it's behind the gates but it's walkable I believe. Haven't heard of anybody fishing it.

The county assessor's website has mapping that shows ownership of parcels.  To get started, you just need one address or parcel number, then go to the mapping tool (on internet explorer - Google chrome doesn't work)  Find the area you're interested in and click on the parcels (after clicking on the "i" information button.)
