Can't forget the breakfast of champions!  Granola and vanilla protein!

Have you tried the peanut butter powder from Costco... Grubbin. I mix it with vanilla and chocolate protein powder. It's like desert for breakfast.

Best of luck on your hunt.

How many days will you be packing for ? Does that meal plan kinda get redundant around day 7 ?

I really focused on having a variety style menu this year...seems like last year when the chips where down I was really getting tired of having the same candy bar after ten days

Great thread

Good luck buddy! I'll be thinking about you and your brother these next couple of weeks!  Dan
and I will be thinking about you and your family as well my friend.  I have one more reason to push harder and farther.  I hope this is OK with you.  It's in the number one spot.  Few know the bond of a hunting brother.
You just brought a tear to my eye! May that arrow fly true my friend. Thank you

Sorry I should have said candy bar not snickers :chuckle:  It does get a bit old but not as bad as other menu's I've had in the past.  I also change up the ramen flavors.  That hot lunch is always amazing!

As of now the game plan is 4 days in, then out and move areas.  The thought is that we will either have a dead bull by the 4th day or we will have played our hands in that area and it will be time to move.  More supplies will be at the trailhead though so if we decide we are gonna stay it will be a quick trip out for food and right back in.

I really haven't mentioned enough all the help and support from my buddies.  From Mike and Trevor who kept me honest on all those hot Thursday workouts, to my friend Dan for letting me crash his house a few nights a week to lob arrows in the pasture, to the getsum crew for the continued unwavering support!  Heck Coach gave up sugar so he could get into lean mean fighting shape!  I'm surrounded by amazing individuals who support me and to push me to be better.  I'm ready for this.  I'm as ready as I've ever been for a hunt.  Its gonna be a wild 9 days men 8)

BLRman and crew. I joined this site about 6 months or so ago and never formally introduced myself, just a man of few words I guess. I have really enjoyed following this post. Better than any magazine article avaliable today! Really looking forward to see how this plays out. I wish you boys the best, good luck.
