Oregon Antelope hunt
« on: August 09, 2016, 09:29:13 PM »
Head south to Portland Thursday night and then on to the East Beaty's unit for my 78 year old father's Antelope hunt.  My brother and nephew come down Sunday if he hasn't already tagged out.  If I have cell coverage I will keep this thread up to date.  Can't frickin wait!

Pretty spotty cell coverage.  But we saw lots of Antelope this morning but the best buck we saw was about 12" so we let him walk.

Sure wish I could have joined you Carl. Best of luck to the old timer and say hi to your brother for me. It's raining cats and dogs here in cordova.

Missed one today.  150 yds.  He felt he rushed the shot and jerked the trigger.  We checked his sights anyway and he was still on. So I have been teasing him a bit about getting buck fever at 78.
