Cabelas space rain gear
« on: August 29, 2016, 02:52:17 PM »
Does anyone have any experience with this rain gear? Thought it looked like pretty good stuff so I bought the pants, but they were sold out of the jackets. Gotta wait till they get more in. It got pretty good reviews, but I thought I would ask here. And I really like the new O2 octane camo too.

I've been saving my pennies for this set.   once I get my back pay from my new stripe ill be getting a set in the o2 camo.   I like the compact ability of it.

Me too, I just hope it keeps the water out :chuckle: Ive used the dry plus before and its leaked every time. I hope the 4 dry plus is better.

I had a set of this and was not very happy with it.  It leaked relatively quick and it did not hold up very well.   I've had better luck with the cheaper Red Ledge packable rain gear from Sportsman Whse.

Not the most durable for brush busting, but for " just in case" it sure is light.

Well, I bought the pants and they kept me dry on a few hour hike through wet brush and grass. I was very impressed until I was 20 feet from the road I was parked on and I snagged them on a limb and tore them pretty good :bash:. I took them back to cabelas and they let me exchange them soooo....Im going to give them another try.
