Late archery. Had 35 total buck encounters. Had one 165" 5x6 at 25 yards but no shot. Was a great all around trip. 68 hours in stand. Ended up with this guy

Killed this buck the second weekend of the modern firearm season. 7x6; he has a triple eye guard on his right side and a double eye guard on his left side. One of his antler points was broke off a bit (lost 2-4 inches). Measured 28 3\4 wide, great mass, etc. Shot it on state land, which was a bit surprising too me.

Any guess on what he scores?
If he's not 180", I'll bet he's close...
That's a great deer!

Thanks...
I get that its a 4x4 but I'm never scored any of my deer, so I included the eye guards in my original post to try and get as accurate as a score as possible. I would assume they count, but IDK how it works.

:yike: Good lord Russ that is a great deer, congrats.

Going to school at University of Idaho 400 miles from the coast where I've grown up hunting elk and blacktail, had to change my strategies a little for over here.
Here's our Northern Idaho Mountain Whitetails, excited for our first year.
