Maybe I shouldn't have stereotyped.  I am quite sure that I have spent more time on the winter range than you. Please come over into any of the yakima elk areas and watch what happens to our elk as they come out of the mountains. I have yet to see a native hiking over a ridge or backpack a bull out yet!  It truly puts a bad taste in my mouth.
  Jealous? Not a bit. My other mistake was taking a jab at a tribal hunt on their own reservation. I totally support them hunting on their land whenever they want. When they hunt "ceded" land they should follow wdfw rules...

They're not Yakama. They're colville tribe, and there's a huge difference between the way the colvilles manage their wildlife and hunt and the way the Yakama tribe does things.

Two of the guys in that picture could probably walk circles around you and still make it to the top of the mountain first.  You shouldn't discount their hunting ethics or skill just because you dislike tribal hunts.  Do a little research or ask some questions.   I'm sure you could get some quick answers if you have a Facebook page... Check out RBBP, and ask away.

That is an awesome bull!  We all know Elk hunting is hard and no matter who you are or where you hunt it is a challenge and the harvest should be commended.  Congrats to the hunter!

  just because you don't see them out there hiking doesn't mean they arnt out there. there is more hiking out there then you think

All four of them.  There are four pretty tough hombre's in that picture.  I might also add that these guys spend a lot of time w/kids, their own and relatives/neighbors kids, out in the field and one of the young fellas in that picture and his wife volunteered to raise kids that are not their biological children and that is in addition to raising their biological kids.

Lol...u must be a racist or inexperienced to think like that.  Remember you said/think that cuz u will be embarrassed of your self once u become happer with your life and or get more time out in the woods.  I remember back when i was a kid and didn't have that many harvests i under my belt i used to get jealous too bud...don't worry man it won't always be like that for you.

And that is one heck of a fine young man holding the buck in that photo. 

I have a photo of another buck he shot [in 2013 IIRC], but I can't locate it.  I spent some time digging around on my old computer yesterday evening, it was replaced because it was old and had a virus that I just didn't feel like dealing with.  I will try some more tonight.

Exactly why I quit posting. Everyone of those guys put in tons of miles and do a lot of scouting. I will vouch for each one of them that they are top notch and are great hunters.

I don't understand why so many are ok with being able to hunt pretty much whenever? Yeah it's an awesome bull but I'm sure a lot of us could kill some huge animals if we followed native rules. It's just hard for me to care when a native shoots an animal.

You are welcome to your opinion. You are always hating. Many of those animals are from sound management, just saying.   I don't know why some must pirate pics that are not theirs and post on here.
