Snake den

So last weekend I moved a trail cam down to one of my favorite elk hunting spots.  The trails are torn up and there is plenty of sign.  While trying to get where I wanted to set up the Cam I walked right into a rattlesnake den.  The den sits right next to the water where the elk come into it.  My question is do I hunt over the snake den or try something else?

I hate snakes, so I would be miles away...

They don't seem to be aggressive.  I don't like snakes at all but I will hunt it.  My biggest worry is shooting an elk with a snake bite.

You will know if one has been bit.  I seen a Bull beef cow that got struck in the neck, his neck was 3 times normal for over a week!  It was crazy looking but he lived just fine.

haha I will take a picture from about two miles away.  I almost stepped on one of them bad boys before I realized what was going on..

No No No!!!!!  The only good snake is a dead snake. I hate Snakes

I don't have any of thoe this trip.  It is also avout 3 miles in.
