Funny how they always show their faces...it's like they can't hear the word without getting lathered up.

mulehunter, I don't think that's what Jackelope is getting at. He simply wanted to hear from folks who have actually witnessed wolves in the wild here in Washington and where they spotted them.

Trust me my friend, there are PLENTY of threads here on Hunting Washington about wolves, what folks want to do with them, etc.

I think you're talking about the wolf hit near tum tum, not the one in Davenport.
That is correct - guess "near Davenport" is relative, to me everything along Highway 2 east of Banks Lake is "near Davenport"!
The 1 I'm referring to is not the 1 near Tum Tum.  This one was between Fort Spokane and Davenport.

Seen 1 a few years ago between Lake Kachees and Cooper Lake.

i seen some very big dog tracks by lake kachess. they were bigger then my palms. and there were no human tracks to be seen anywhere. there were up by fortune (sp) creek.

also see a set of tracks (2 dogs) about the same size in the cabin creek area, this was in 07 during the late elk season. they were about the same size as the ones i seen this year. i followed these ones for a while and they crossed the river.

This fall i saw a pack of 5 and reported their location to the WDFW. They said that they already knew because they had a collar on one of them. I heard they have been spotting the same pack and it has supposedly gotten bigger.

That pack just hasn't ran into the wrong local yet...

Was up getting a load of firewood yesterday in the blues and saw a really big track.  Near my elk camp so I am hoping it was just someone's great dane out for a walk.  No human tracks with it though.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
