Williams FP Legend TK peep on a Knight Big Horn
« on: September 16, 2016, 07:23:31 PM »
So I just mounted my Williams FP Legend TK peep on my new Knight Big Horn with a Williams 3/16" streamlined front ramp and a Williams Fire Sight .375 N fiber optic bead. My question is.... Can you bore sight a peep sight in?  Or... What is the best way to at least hit paper @ 25 yes so you can begin to make adjustments? Or.. If you run the same set up, where did you align your  white marks on the windage  and elevation scales? Pic maybe to get me in the ball park?? I'm trying not to shoot tons of lead cause the bullets I ordered were super spendy. Thanks.

I have the same set up, just center the windageand elevation the best you can, pull the plug and see where it's at. A couple of three round groups will get you dialed in. I was on paper at 50 yards right off by using that procedure.
My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

Well... Sighted in my muzzleloader with my new Williams FP Legend Peep sight and couldn't be happier. It's definitely more accurate than regular open sights and it's a lot easier to shoot. I'm extremely confident with this setup. Now the hard part... Finding a legal bull.

A pic of the peep mounted on my bighorn, or a pic of the targets?

You might like it even better with the sight hood over the bead too
