Your Dad, may he rest in peace, didn't lose his fight. He raised a couple of stud young men and he fought the hardest fight for a decade. Very sorry for your family's loss D, he sure sounds like he was a tough old Cob and was game right up to the end.

Sounds like he went out with his boots on.  And leaves behind a powerful legacy with his kids.  About all any of us can hope for on this side of heaven.

Sorry for your loss as I lost my Father two years ago so I have a little understanding of what you are going through. 

Enjoy the memories and keep some of his things around so you see them every day.
