http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,166060.msg2190078.html#msg2190078            I know but it was a reliable source.  Heck as soon as she found out she called me to share and couldn't believe it herself.  It doesn't really matter and we all know the State operates totally in the light! :bash:  Either way something happened.

I'm not saying they're not there. I am saying I don't believe that the state released them there.
Hell, I just posted a link where a wolf travelled 700 miles into Montana. It could happen, and it will happen.

I read that, yes.  Thanks.  Why did it travel so far?  Maybe territory was already full of wolves.  I do thing public perception of wolves in this state has shifted a little to more common sense.  I hope.
MAGA!  Again..

They are all the way to the coast now.  I saw tracks and scat in Boistfort 2 years ago and have had reports from friends ( and seen pics) of them being as far West as William's Creek and North River.
I found a large canine track out on the west part of the Clearwater GMU last year.  Until I see/hear any good indication of being a woof, I'm just sticking with large canine.

I found some tracks up in North river probably 10 years ago and went back the next day and cast them...still have a few casts sittin in the drawer from some big canine out in the woods...it was not coyote, I also found tracks in the wynoochee unit

I saw sign up there this year as well as last year that made me wonder. No proof but highly suspect.

Back about 8 years before Meth production got outsourced to Mexico, the meth cookers from Randle to Pe Ell were into raising wolf pups for selling.  Several of those cooking camps were busted over a period of years, leading to those high percentage wolf/dog crosses running loose and unaccountable.  Several were shot by the neighbors, mostly dairy farmers but quite a few just slid into the thick forests of Lewis County.
I have no doubt they were fruitful and multiplied.
Being a hybrid I would have thought they were under no protection from game laws and could be shot on site.
You'll never get a Big'un if you keep shooting Little'un's.

Buddy just sent me a video of a black wolf recorded on a game cam placed in Glacier.  That is, in Whatcom County.

I'm working on getting one confirmed in western whatcom/ skagit.  I've given them three pics now in the last year, I was told if I can get two in the same frame we could look at confirming a pack
In 05 they were given pics of a whole pack on a Nooksack bar with track pics and everything. They didn't do squat. DNA hair samples are all they will take and you had better keep some to keep them honest.
you mean the dog sled team that someone posted up here??

My brother, who is not an outdoorsman by any definition, asked me a month ago if there were grey wolves on Ft Lewis.   He lives up by  Mountain Highway and walks his dog on TA 14 almost daily and is very familiar with coyotes.   Anyway he was driving out to the casino with his wife and said he was sure he saw a grey wolf off 8th Ave E past Rice Kandle RD.

I said it was probably a large coyote, he said it was right by the road and it was just way too big to be a coyote.

They know, they released them south of Pe Ell west of kelso out yonder there up high by that lake.  Serious they did.  Report all we want they will confirm when they decide too.  Hoof rot control. Ug.
They did not release any wolves.

I hope they hurry up and get on with recovery over there.

Tell us how you really feel. Want more wolves in Washington. You want them to infest western Washington and ruin hunting opportunities. Do us all a favor find a bridge and jump.

Are you seriously encouraging somebody to commit suicide because of a comment they made about wolves on an internet forum?
