ND here we come
« on: October 02, 2016, 10:57:20 AM »
As the countdown is closer,21 days today.  We set of four a cottage to do an epic Pheasant hunt for the 8th year. Just thought i would share some pictures from previous years. 108-120 birds in 4 days is not too shabby!
Is it waterfowl season yet..............

No invites,we have a group of 9 that religiously go. And 1 back up. Rule of thumb with our group you miss 2 years, extra guy gets the in.  The nice thing about it is the coat. License, lodging, gas,and gifts for the farmers is 300/wk. Plus drinks and food,is about 600. Great memories and awesome hunting.

Everything is down this year compared to last with the exception of Huns . Last year was absolutely the best I have ever seen and spent hunting. Still going come in contact with more birds there in a day then you will here in wa all year.

I haven't seen as many birds this year while I'm driving around. I was seeing a couple hundred in certain fieldslast year. This year 40-50 in the same areas. But I'm sure there are still plenty to hunt.

Good luck and have fun
