Heading to SD or ND - any tips?
«

I'm trying to find a landowner who allows people to hunt their land from out of state (not lodges). I know it will be pay to hunt per gun (since they don't know us). If anyone has a connection for either SD or ND that they wouldn't mind sharing, please send me a PM.
It's just two of us driving out in a couple of weeks.
I'll offer up some pheasant in return...

I know where you can hunt tribal land in SD (Winner) for $50 per gun per day. It's semi guided which means the tribal member will drive around with you and show you where you can hunt, but he stays in the car. PM me if interested.

If you want info on ND I can help. One place I hunted last year a few times 500-1000 birds got up. I doubt you will have to pay anything to get birds everyday.

When we hunted there we hunted all the ditches full of CRP grass surrounding the crop fields. Its legal to do so and they were gridded in half mile sections. Once the crops were cut, the birds hung in those ditches and we limited there every day. It was around the Winner area, awesome time. We also just ask local farmers and some said yes as well.
