Naughty List
« on: November 01, 2016, 06:51:30 AM »
We have a few deer around and there has been a group of does hanging in this small draw all summer.  Last week, low and behold a small 2 pt found them and had it made.

Until......

I get a call from an employee that one of our ag bags of corn had a bunch of holes in it.   :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:  I go to investigate and I see tracks and this....
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

At this point I realize this little buck I've been seeing has warn out his welcome.  Using my bag as a sparring partner has me spitting mad. I drive to the end of the bag and low and behold  50 yards away this guy stands up

I don't think he's sparring with it, I think he figured out how to get a free meal.  :chuckle:

So, did you order lots of burger and pepperoni or are you doing some roasts and steaks?

He was chased off of the property....

Only good news was that while he was fine where he was, had 4 does to himself, as he was running onto the neighbors property and into a canyon, a bigger buck stood up and well......was thankful for the girls that came his way....

Still mad about it....

Hmmm, sounds like you could make a pretty clear case for a dep permit! He's not just nibbling some crops, here...  And then Pianoman's question will be extremely appropriate...   :cue:
