Four States Initiatives on the 2nd Amendment
« on: November 08, 2016, 08:58:43 PM »
Our enemies on the Left may be pooping their panties over the Congress and POTUS election, but are eeking out an important victory in their assault on Constitutional freedoms. Only Maine is rejecting stricter gun laws.

Edited @4:14am WA time:

Nevada: 100% of precincts reporting
Yes-558,586
No-548,685

Maine: 89% of precincts reporting
No- 355,879
Yes- 330,548

Kalifornia (People's Repugnant of): 92% of precincts reporting
Yes: 5,284,020
No:  3,128,437

Seattle (oh wait, I mean "Washington"): 65% reporting
Yes: 1,395,031
No: 563,138

Congratulations Washington, you're more liberal by % than Kalifornia.  :bash:

I was hoping washington voters would be smart enough to vote that crap down......I'm glad I didn't hold my breath.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I was just reading about the Cali Initiative and thought about posting it here. That's crazy requiring a background check for ammo purchases.

I never thought it would have passed by such a large margin. There are supporters who will wrongfully have their rights revoked by a disgruntled (ex) loved one and will pay dearly to try and get their right restored.

It was 1980 the last time this state was red (governor). It's been blue and sad state ever since.

:yike: can't believe Walla Walla County let is pass too.  :yike:
Was going to say something on this but see this is already there.  :bash:
"When my bow falls, so shall the world. When me heart ceases to pump blood to my body, it will all come crashing down. As a hunter, we are bound by duty, nay, bound by our very soul to this world. When a hunter dies we feel it, we sense it, and the world trembles with sorrow. When I die, so shall the world, from the shock of loosing such a great part of ones soul." Ezekiel, Okeanos Hunter

Edited for updated totals: looks like Maine held the line, despite having approved both medical marijuana and an increase in the minimum wage. I read a year or so ago that our enemies on the Left strategized to put I-594's on the  several states ballots along with pot legalization to increase the amount of flag burners coming out to vote. The minimum wage hike seems to have passed in Washington, Maine, and Arizona. So begins the trail down the flat earth, flat growth anti-science road to populism. :bash:

Looks like in Nevada it came down to 10,000 votes out of a million cast, ergo 1%  :bash:  Approximately 2.8 million people that live there, and yet another 10,001 couldn't be bothered to come out and stand for Constitutional rights. Hillary was defeated and there is cause for celebration in some respects. Celebrate your victory, but realize we have a long way to bringing us back to the federalist, constitutional Republic that actually made us great in the first place.  :twocents:

True fact...
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
