Update with the account from the hunter who discovered the kill and reported to WDFW.

Whoever did this should have the hunting privileges and the right to own firearms revoked for life.

Whoever did this should have the hunting privileges cancelled for life and the right to own firearms.

Agreed. They have already shown that they don't care about laws, so banning them from hunting would be a waste of time. Seizing all their firearms and a lifetime irreversible ban on owning or even using them would work.

Wow, some liberals are just hugely hateful people. I can't believe the ignorance of the comments on that article. I was going to reply but to what eventual result?

Sadly, there's plenty of hate and ignorance on both sides of the spectrum.....the increase within the forum's disturbing. And then there's "waste book" which takes it to a whole other level.

Its always surprising to me how ignorant many non-hunters are of what hunting actually consists of. I have found that there are actually more who are willing to listen and have a well thought out conversation than the ones who stonewall you, you just have to be willing to have that conversation. (note: I said conversation, not argument. As soon as emotion is brought into it, all common sense goes out the window).
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

I had one tell me yesterday the he thought it would be great if game animals also had a gun on them.   I agreed with him.  Getting a free gun every time I shoot one would be a great perquisite.  He got mad and went all stompy feet at that point because others were laughing at my comment.

That's funny!
