Late season elk success!
«
on:
November 25, 2016, 11:11:15 AM »
Was able to get a shot at a cow Wednesday evening 60yds super steep up hill shot. She was quartering towards me a little more than I thought but regardless it was a 40yd recovery from where she was shot. Always nice to watch them drop.

Nice Elk D-Rock! My father is up in 105 as we speak and saw 15 cows yesterday, but it is "any bull." Any Elk is a good Elk. Way to get er done!

Was she quartering right or left- guessing that's the exit.
I'm always interested in where hits are and what's affected. Check out the discussion link on anatomy and angles.
