Coyote?
« on: December 03, 2016, 07:35:37 PM »
Anybody know what kind of scat this is?
It's from western Washington, and the knife as about 6 inches long.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

Couldn't see any hair, looked more like plants or fruit. Each piece was less than an inch in diameter.

I'd say bear also. How far away from any homes was that pile? Looks like some seeds and dog food. I wonder if someone has been feeding it.

I'd spread it on a piece of toast. Let the taste buds decide.

Based on location - right next to several houses- I'm pretty sure it wasn't a bear.  When I ate it, it just tasted like chicken...

A bear getting into a domestic food supply. Bears love chicken too.

If it's got more than 25% hair, then it's probably Ed Murray's castings.
