CC the grebe probably was chasing small fish and went through the funnel just like a muskrat would.  Nice photos.  Glad to see the tradition is still alive.

Two more coyotes done. I stumbled into some weasel tracks so I am getting all my boxes out this weekend. Should be a good time.

Do you leave the ears tucked in?

Not sue about the whole Eastside but definitely a bunch here in the Columbia Basin.

No I don't. Once I turn them fur out, I pin the ears through the eye wholes and let them finish drying.
