Baker Lake Summer Sockeye?
« on: December 21, 2016, 04:34:44 PM »
Thinking about taking the family up to Baker next July to give the Sockeye a shot. Ive been doing a lot of reading on the fishery and camping, Just wanted to get some of your guys opinion as this will be my first trip up there. I have boat, down riggers, and tackle... one question is would my Lamiglass Kokanee rods be enough for the Sockeye? If not what rod specs should I look out for?

You'll be able to get by with what you've got. Be more concerned with timing. The first week is on fire and slows drastically from there.
