Are you tanning them after catching them or using them for bait?

Nice work. What are you using for bait?

Can of sardines cracked half way open & wired to the top of the cage behind the pan (don't have any conibear trigger cages large/strong enough for this job or id be using em), make urself a tin foil cup and put it behind the pan.. pour some clam juice in it. Then a little bit of Cavens Otter Lure Supreme behind the pan. Pour a very small amount of sardine juice and clam juice at the entrance of the trap and make a faint stream of juices down towards the pan to lead them in, but not too much so they don't get enough of what they want and stop right there :chuckle:
For this setup I had some shiny silver fishing flashers wired up in the top behind the pan to capitalize on their curiousity (tin foil cup does the same)....I have also used golf balls sitting on a small pile of dead grass to look like some eggs in a nest.
