Who has a suppressor? What model do you like. I'm thinking about getting one for a savage hog hunter in .308 Thanks Jason

Silencerco Omega.  Never shot any other cans.  I liked its versatility. I use it for .308, 6.5 creed, 300 blackout and 5.56. Makes shooting super fun.  I also liked it so much I got a .22lr can also.

+1 on the Omega.  Magnum rated yet lightweight and versatile enough to use on smaller guns.

I've used the Saker and Harvester from SilencerCo, not the Omega, but it looks like a very good choice. I've also used one from Griffen Armament that's rated for 338 Lapua, but it spends more time on a 260 Rem. I recently got an Ultra 7 from Thunder Beast and of the cans I've used, the Ultra 7 is my favorite. IMO, don't get one rated specific to the 308, get one rated for 30 caliber magnums and then you have a lot of choices how you use it.

Thunderbeast Ultra 7 is next on my list.

Thunderbeast Ultra 7 is next on my list.

And I can't think of a better choice.  TBAC makes top notch stuff, others do too but I'll take a TBAC Ultra every time.

Ultra 7 or 9 is on my short list as well. Very quiet cans even on a 300 Win Mag.

Hard to compare suppressors given the long lead time an outrageous expense involved in buying one.  There are a lot of newer, sub $500, offerings out there and many new items entering the market.

If I was buying today I’d probably go with a Sig – direct thread.

I have a Specwar 7.62. Very quiet on everything from .300 blk to .300 wm, but heavy. Having to add a muzzle device adds more weight and about $80 per host. My next can will be a lighter direct thread.

I have an OSS in 556 and 762, also have an ACC in 556 and an Octane 9. The OSSs are hands down better than the others :twocents:
