Great moose.  His antlers turned out and looks like he has a good spread.  Story?

It's amazing how much meat you get off these.  I've made steaks, hamburger, hot smokey italian sausage, mild italian sausage, texas salami, brisket, bratwurst, pepperoni, and I just got done with a batch of jerky.  I've been working at it for well over a week.  I'm sure your having the same issues...

Here is the short story.
Day one 12 miles not one moose!
Day two one bull twice( 25 -39 inch),  Dad and bear a little upset that I didn't shoot him the second time when we got back to the truck and he was standing in the road 30 yards out and closing.
Day three a few cows one bull. and the remains or one that I watched in July someone REALLY wanted just the horns >:(( we had to let fish and fur know).
Day 4 had some calling and tried to close the distance but no luck.
Day five seen one cow, decided to try a new area. We parked and walked down a closed road to a clearcut called one time and had him on the hook and coming in fast, Harry and I went up the road into the timber dad and my brother stayed back the wind wasn't in our favor. With the bull coming Harry stayed behind me calling. Harry could see him but I couldn't when I finally got a shot at him he was about 35 yards out head down and still coming. I shot the bullet went though the top of his nose out the bottom and directly into his chest he stumbled backwards and took off. I knew I hit him well. we went down into the trees to see where he went. My brother pointed him out he had made it about 30 yards but he was still standing I put one more behind the front shoulder and he lunged forward and Knocked over a dead 60 foot tree on his way down. (that was crazy to see). the best part it was only a 250 - 300 yard pack. ( they couldnt get ot mad about that  ;))  again I would like to thank My brother and true Friend Harry for being great hunting partners and taking time to tag along on this hunt. Also to my dad who took time off to take part and  getting back into hunting again.

Great Moose, congrats.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
