How many turkey tags can you buy?
« on: April 11, 2017, 01:39:19 PM »
I went to Cabelas today to buy my hunting license and turkey tags today.  I told her I wanted two turkey tags. She said I could only buy one turkey tag now and one at a later date. Is that right? I thought I could get two now. She would only sell me one so that will do I guess.

Does no one read the regs?

Quote
A total of three (3) turkeys in the spring season with following restrictions:
Only two (2) turkeys may be taken in eastern Washington and only one (1)
of those may be taken in Chelan, Kittitas, or Yakima counties (combined);
only one (1) turkey may be taken in western Washington per year outside
of Klickitat County. Two (2) turkeys may be taken in Klickitat County
[/b]
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Imagine that: looking it up in the regulations to get the answer.  :yeah:

hey,to be fair to the op the question he asked is not addressed in the regs.that should have been known by the clerk when he went to purchase.

I know it doesn't say you cant so you can.but obviously he thought he could and thats why it got brought up.its the clerks fault as i said.

 THE CLERK SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE REGS. IT IS NOT ADDRESSED SO CLERK SHOULD HAVE KNOWN HE COULD GET ALL 3. is that better?  :chuckle:

I see. It is rather cryptic. Perhaps you can suggest a more understandable wording.
