I sold my otters yesterday to Harts Lake. $40 straight through. I thought that was a pretty good price considering the market. I would have had to get at least $45 from NAFA average to equal that.
Angelo told me he can use about a 100 otter annually and he can cut out about 25% of his costs by buying direct from the trapper so he can probably pay a little more then auction prices unless you think the market is going to improve between now and the auction.
