Headed in there soon. We will be camped with a big ass seahawk flag. We will be there for 2 weeks but will be changing spots as needed. Any hunting Wa guys welcome to stop in and have a cold one. Good luck shoot straight.
Going slow, we have hit it hard every day. We have seen elk but mostly either right at or before daylight or to too dark in the evening to see what they are. We hunted the wilderness and bumping lake for 3 days and have moved to a different spot now. Still going in, and coming out in the dark.
I just got back from bumping/nile units and struck out after 5 days of non-stop hiking and glassing. Didn't even see an elk. My dad drew a any bull tag, looking to get our first big game together. Any advice with this weather moving in? Running out of ideas. We aren't afraid to put some miles in and burn some boot rubber.
