Greetings all, we are headed to Chewelah this morning, have reservations in the RV park in town. No need to fight the snow and slop with a trailer in tow. Weather is our biggest concern, freezing fog and such.  A sincere thank you to all of for the advice and help. Will keep you in touch. ff :hello:

That dang weather potentially wreaking havoc on another hunt.  :bash:  Good luck and I hope you get a good one.

Howdy all, we gave up on the moose/whitetail hunt in 117. Covered a lot of country in pickup and ATV, saw one moose track and numerous whitey tracks. Talked with locals in Chewelah and Colville, same sad story-- wolves. Heard of one whitey buck Saturday evening, no moose sightings. A sincere thank you to one and all, we appreciate the offers to help and the advice.  Adios, Mike n' Kathy. :hello:

Ouch, sorry to hear you didn't connect.  I learned again this year it isn't always about filling a tag.  Hopefully you had a good time seeing some new country.

Yes, we saw some new country and had a play day in the snow. But-- those darn tags are awful dry. :chuckle:
