I’m not out there this weekend. A bunch of snow today followed by a crap ton of rain tonight and tomorrow turned me off. Hoping/praying for a big melt and some sunshine and clear skies later next week and will head up for 3-4 days. Looking pretty good for that right now.

Lots of us rooting for this hunt to turn out well!

Can’t thank you all enough. Told my buddy today I’m ok if I kill a goat and ok if I don’t. I’ve seen places and done things I never would have seen or done had I not had this tag. Can’t control Mother Nature. With that said,  my plan is to kill a goat in a week.

You made the right call not going out there this weekend. I have a feeling that there are some thru hikers having a terrible time tonight/this weekend.

Thanks for the reassurance in my decision, guys. Ive been thinking those thru hikers are pretty much all through there now. There was a bunch of north-bounders passing through in August.

That's a good way to think about any hunt we go on.  Thanks for sharing that.

I hope you take advantage of the weather this week and slay a goat.
