I know what morels are, that's it.
I can say without a doubt you wouldn't catch me eating those.

Those do not look like the false morels or snow morels I have ever seen. Have no idea what they are though.

This guy calls them a "brain mushroom" or false morel. To me, they are seriously nasty looking.

Those who say gyromitra are correct and don't eat. But go ahead and smell them because they have an amazing aroma.
