I saw a good one last night. I didn’t get him on film.  He was trailing hard.  Archery wouldn’t have worked, 30-06 would have made great work.

Does anyone come from the river when they draw this tag.
Lead em if they're running.

Have a picture of a buddy's relative who shot a hog in 329  with his rifle tag.

Hunted all day today....saw about a dozen deer, two of which were smallish bucks.  Also ran into some sheep down near the river which was fun to see.

Good luck! If I had the tag I would definitely concentrate my efforts along Beacon Ridge Rd from park creek down to the observatory in the wind farm. Always see multiple nice bucks in that area chasing does during rifle elk season. Saw several nice ones this year and heard of a giant in that area.

Kind of bittersweet when you finally pull the trigger and the hunt is over.  All of the anticipation over the summer leading up to the hunt comes to an abrupt end.  I think we both expected to see more deer..  It wasn't really about that for me though.  Just hunting with my son in the snow that time of year was awesome!  A great experience and I look forward to the next.

We saw a few smallish bucks each day and he killed the biggest one we saw on day eight.
