Since you're tagging it "crimson"  is it not quite so bright in person as the pics make it show?

Soooo, are you going to be a little pizzed when Nosler comes out with their "20 Nosler" and the case capacity is a few grains larger than the 22 Nosler??  :yike:

But, but, the .20 cal 55gr Berger, even at a conservative 3200fps, walks all over the .22cal 77 grainers at 2900. :dunno:

I only ran the numbers out to 1000 yards and the .20 w/55's smoked the .22 w/77's in both drop and wind.

Nice shooting.

Looks to be a keeper to me.

Curious, did you by chance run any of that factory Nosler ammo across a chronograph??  Nosler, like most others, is notorious for advertising velocities on the box that is no where near actual real world.  I had some Nosler 338-378 that was 200 fps slower than they advertised and both were shot from a 26in. barrel.  When I called and talked to one of their so called "techs" he tried to give me the ole well barrels vary in velocity speech, yeah they do but not 200 fps variance. lol

Now that you have a empty case, could you measure the case capacity in water please.  Thanks.

I fired 140 rounds yesterday, so I had 137 flyers. Tough day for wind calls.😊

Hit the range on the fly today, messed around with my holdovers at 300 yards. Using the MOA reticle and not dialing. Didn't have a spotting scope with me and the mirage wasn't letting me see my hits at 300 on 14x. The orange dot was dancing like something you would see on a pole at Stateline.😊 I got tired of having to drive down to the 300 yard line. I'll just try it again one of these cool mornings when I have time.

300 yards factory Nosler 77gr CC ammo.

Yup in summer I do all my load development on State land at 6:00 am.  No wind, no heat, no mirage.
