Some hi tech tuning of the adjustable gas block :o

Didn't clear the HG?

No!! I'm too impatient to wait on another adjustable gas block to be delivered. I'm going to try/order in a Vella adjustable when Rainier Arms gets them back in stock and swap it out!

👍👍👍👍

Biggerhammer, is there any chance you could measure the case capacity of one of those 22 Nosler cases in water?  Nosler lists it at 34.7gr water but they sometimes stretch the truth on things a little.

As soon as I fire one, I'll do that. I just have loaded factory ammo right now😊😊

I have some Fortis Reds on hand but I'm going to try a brake I have never used before on the .22 Nosler. It's a Precision Armarment M4-72. A couple guys I know swear by them 75% recoil reduction with the 5.56. I figure the M4-72 along with the adjustable gas block should make it shoot light and smooth. I'll have to see how it recoils with the brake. I prefer straight back recoil, some brakes don't give you that.

Unless Gunsmith-X or McFiddle something or one of his buddies coughs up a new cool 😎 guy brake!?

Sweet!

Lowers assembled but I'm haveing issues with the rear of the handguard touching the front take down pin lug . Not allowing the upper to line up with the take down holes on the lower. Need to do a little file work.

Dang, that looks almost too pretty to shoot.....

almost, LOL

Pretty cool, do they come in other schemes besides crimson?

The more I read about the .22 Nosler, the better it sounds. Can't wait to hear how she shoots.

Very nice.  Makes me want one.  And I like the 22 Nosler spec.  Would love an AR in that.

Truth be told! Shooting new rifles is a love/hate thing with me. No matter if it's a factory chambering or a wildcat. I'm a complete accuracy freak!!! If it can't swing 1/2 MOA or better I want to throw it half way down the range then the run over it several times with my truck, throw what's left in the back of my truck. Go to the nearest watering hole. Knock back about a dozen cold ones and take my frustrations out on the first cute thing that says. " Is that you F'T Up rifle in the back of that truck" ..

I may have a Killer Innovations brake sitting around that I'd give you until something better turns up. Maybe that would motivate somebody to get a better design out there. :chuckle:

I agree those killed Innovations brakes needed a little more freedom for the thought process. Maybe something a little more advanced will show up. 😏
