Bino to tripod advice?

And don't let anyone talk you out of tripod mounting your binocular.  It makes a huge difference and anyone who thinks that the other supposed "just as good" solutions are even close is probably trying to sell you some cockamaimie contraption that is a waste of money or has no experience w/a tripod mounted binocular where it makes a difference.

I use the Vortex adaptor for both my 10x and 15x bino's.

If you're underway while bowhunting (or don't want to unpack and setup) and need to stabilize quickly, while holding my bow grip, I prop my bottom limb(s)/cam on my thigh and use the top cam to help stabilize the bino's (while using remaining hand).

Ok one more question. With the Outdoorsman adapter should I get the tall one or the shorter? Doesn't really say the difference on the website, or why you'd need one vs. the other

I go tall to give a little more clearance between your face and the tripod head and you get a little more height if your tripod is on the edge of being a little short.

The tall adapter was created for the Swarovski el range. If you are using a standard bino the regular post works perfectly fine. I have both and the el range do not pivot enough on the standard post.
