New Boat Trailer Advice

I am looking for a new double axel trailer for my 23' Grady White outboard that is approx. 5,000 lbs dry.  It currently has a rusting out galvanized EZ Loader with rollers.  I have bunk trailer on a smaller boat that I really like but the rollers work really well for the Grady.  I would like to stick with a roller over a bunk.

I'm thinking an aluminum trailer is the best option but any helpful advice would be appreciated. 

Also I'm in Snohomish County and would like to stay local for a dealer.

  I do not know about trailers much but I like he bearings with the 90 wt. you can see thru the cap.

Our new one has those, they seem to be pretty slick.

On bunks vs. rollers,  I think bunks are better for weight distribution/support for the boat's hull, and a lot cheaper.

Oil bath bearings are good just change the fluid once a year. Look at king trailers or another ez loader. Bunks/ rollers... depends on the degree of your hull. I love slick bunks but I'm running a 22' hewescraft and it sits nicely on bunks.

They use the sealed 90 weight for semi trailers a lot.

The other thing I like about bunks is I can unhook my boat up the ramp and not worry about it rolling off, happened once with a little 14 footer....  It is harder to pull it up though if you can't back in far enough.

I'd check out King saltwater trailers. Mines just a single axle, but way better than the one I replaced

I have a sea king galvanized with bunks. The bunks are hard plastic and like ice loading the boat

There is one in my backyard, barely used for a 23' Grady. Goats ate some of the carpet off the bunks. I'll call my buddy Kevin and tell him it's sold.

This would fit my boat, I'd love to have a mainland trailer to rent a couple times a year....

I put the hard plastic plates on the carpet bunks on my other boat trailer and the boats sildes off a lot easier.

Calsac plastics has a red hdpe plate in strips they'll sell realm cheap. You have to call, ask for Pam and tell her Paul sent you.
