BLACKCLOUD II
« on: August 17, 2017, 09:36:09 AM »
Interesting.  I might try a box if I can find it locally but I'm not sure that I want to take on a whole case without trying it, even with a $50 rebate.

"The newly redesigned Black Cloud provides more hits and fewer lost birds, new clean burning powder, and the new Flitecontrol Flex wad that even allows use with aftermarket ported and standard choke tubes makes this the new standard in Waterfowl hunting.

SAVE UP TO $100 WITH THE MANUFACTURERS MAIL-IN REBATE, GOOD AUGUST 1 THRU DECEMBER 31 AND IF YOU BUY TWO CASES YOU GET A FREE ROGERS UNDER ARMOUR BLACKCLOUD HOODIE."

Is there enough savings there if you got a case that if you didn't like it as a hunting round, you could use it for pratice?
It is better to be consistently incorrect than inconsistently correct...

My level of sarcasm depends on your level of stupidity...

Sarcasm makes smart people laugh and stupid people mad.

Not really.  And I don't know of any ranges that allow steel shot

With the new wad, they might shoot very well.  Might be worth trying a case or two.

Skagit Arms has it in stock.  They are trying to match Rogers pricing as well.  This ammo offers a rebate to help offset the cost.
